1/2 cup butter, melted

1 (16 oz.) package chocolate pudding (not instant)

1/2 cup milk

4 3/4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2-3/4 cup walnuts (or nut of your choice)


In medium saucepan melt the butter; stir in dry pudding and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. After thickened, remove from heat and beat in sifted powdered sugar. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Put into a medium size buttered glass dish and chill.
