1/2 cup water

1/2 cup corn syrup

1/3 cup vinegar

2 tabl. dried mustard

4 tabl. corn starch

1 tabl. sugar

1 tabl. oil

1/2 tsp. turmeric

1/2 tsp. salt

10 drops hot sauce (Tabasco or your choice)


Mix all ingredients until smooth. Place in sauce pan and heat until boiling; cook for 2-3 minutes or until thick. Cool and refrigerate.
