9-3/4 cups old-fashioned oats

2 cups flour (1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white flour)

3/4 cup raisins

2 cups brown sugar (packed loosely)

2 eggs, beaten

2 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix the oats, flour, cinnamon, and cloves together; set aside. In another large bowl, combine raisins, sugar, oil, water, eggs, and vanilla.  Combine dry ingredients with wet; mix well. Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees. Spread granola mixture on an ungreased large cookie sheet. and bake in the center of the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and turn granola over with a spatula and bake for 20 more minutes. Then reduce oven temperature to 225-250 degrees and bake for 10 more minutes only turning granola over if it is getting too dark on the top side or it looks too damp.  If fairly dry, turn oven OFF but leave granola in the oven for 45 minutes longer to dry more. Remove and chow down!!

Note*  For additional flavors, you can add fruits, nuts, and etc.  Store in the refrigerator and if you have extra it stores in the freezer well.
