Popcorn, popped and salted (10-12 cups)


2 sticks of butter (1 cup)

2 cups brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup white Karo syrup


1 tsp. baking soda


Pop your popcorn first. Then in a med-large pan put butter, brown sugar, and syrup together; stir and cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 tsp of baking soda (it may foam and rise in your pan a bit); mix well and pour over popped popcorn and stir.  Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour, or less time if you like a more chewy popcorn.
