1 lb. smoked sausage

3/4 cup white rice

1 (10 3/4 oz.) can of cream of celery soup

3/4 cup water

1 tabl. butter

1 (10 oz.) package of frozen peas

1 (2 1/2 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained

1 cup grated swiss cheese


Cut smoked sausage into chunks.  Combine with rice, celery soup, water, and butter in large skillet. Cover and bring to boil on medium heat; then reduce heat and simmner 5 minutes. Stir in package of frozen peas, and drained mushrooms.  Sprinkle with swiss cheese. Simmer, covered for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.  Yields 4 servings
