This page explains what happens to information when you visit 00freerecipes.com. It is short because the site collects very little.

What we collect

Nothing directly. The site has no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no contact form, no comments, and no ratings or reviews, so there is no place to enter personal information. The recipe finder and the servings scaler run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us and is not stored.

This site does not publish a contact address.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not set cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking scripts.

Google Fonts

The site’s typefaces (Bricolage Grotesque, Libre Caslon Text, and Instrument Sans) are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser asks Google’s servers for the font files. As with any web request, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details when that happens. We do not control how Google handles that information. Google explains its practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that hosts this site records standard technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser type. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. They are not used to identify visitors or to build profiles of them.

How the recipes are made

The recipes are prepared ahead of time from public domain cookbooks, with the help of a computer language model. See Methodology for the details. No information about visitors is ever sent to that model.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other sites, such as the Internet Archive, where the source books are kept. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Children

The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes in a way that affects your privacy, such as adding analytics or a sign-up form, this page will be updated before the change goes live. This version is current as of October 2026.
